A Fond Farewell and a Joyful First at ACTS!

A fond farewell, joyful baptisms and little Mateo’s dedication. A special day for our ACTS family.

September 27th was a day of heartfelt goodbyes and joyful celebration as ACTS Community Church said farewell to Isabel Espinoza and her family.

Isabel has been a valued part of TylorsTeam, Warm Welcome and Caffi Croeso. She also developed the curriculum for our after school club, bringing together crafts and games for the children to enjoy. We are grateful for the time, creativity and care she has shared with our church and community.

Alongside the farewell came a special milestone. Isabel and her husband, Liam, were baptised, becoming the first people to be baptised inside the ACTS Centre! Previous baptisms have taken place in the river, in a pool borrowed from another church, in the sea and at a local swimming pool. It was a joy to celebrate this step of faith together in our own building.

We also shared in the dedication of their baby son, Mateo, giving thanks for his life and praying for him and his family.

The family have now moved to London, but they remain very much part of our ACTS family. There is even a possibility they may return!

Thank you, Isabel and Liam, for all you have shared with us. We will miss you and pray that God will guide and bless you and little Mateo as you begin this new chapter.

A special day at ACTS as we celebrated Isabel and Liam’s baptisms, dedicated baby Mateo and shared a heartfelt farewell as the family prepared for their move to London.
